Message	The vent serves as a mounting point for the panels. Unfortuntately when Nissan designed the dash they had no idea that the dash would have problems like this over time. The dash vents mount right on top of the area where the dash peels. Had the vents had longer ledges to cover that area of the dash, it would have not peeled up. This solution merely extendes the ledge of the dash vent and presses the dash back into place. The material used allows for a small, less than a half inch increase in the ledge to prevent the dash from coming up again.
